I started my new position at the Department SAR Technology, DLR, Wessling, Germany.
The Computer Vision and Pattern Recognition (CVPR) 2019 Conference accepted both workshop proposals for which I am involved in the organization:
The WS EarthVision'19 will address the fusion of Earth Observation and Computer Vision.
The WS Photogrametric Computer Vision will focus on image-based 3D reconstruction.
The code for our RF visualization tool to be presented at WACV'19 is now online! Please check it out!
The next workshop "Photogrammetric 3D Reconstruction for Geo-Applications" (PhotoGA 2019) is going to take place in conjunction with the AI.GI.CRV 2019 Conference.
IGARSS'19 accepted both Invited Session proposals: The traditional session of the GRSS IADF TC entitled "Data Fusion: The AI Era" as well as the session organized together with K. Doctor entitled "Labels in Deep Learning: Friend or Foe". For both sessions we have invited high-quality contributions. Hope to see you there.
The tutorial "Machine Learning in Remote Sensing" was accepted again for IGARSS'19. It is the 3rd time this tutorial is going to take place. We will have again four interesting talks covering basic topics as well as describing the most state of the art approaches.
Our paper "Exploiting SAR Tomography for Supervised Land-Cover Classification" was accepted by Remote Sensing. It is the first in-depth study of using TomoSAR data for land-cover classification. It is open access, so there is no reason for not reading it! ;-)
